Core responsibility will be to help current customers with technical and transportation bid management consulting tasks. As an integral contributor to our SaaS delivery model, the Consultant will combine logistics/transportation knowledge with an affinity for software technology to assist our shipper customers in using our platform to its greatest efficiency. Qualified candidates should have experience in logistics, preferably as a tender, pricing, or bid manager at a 3PL, carrier, or forwarding company and should possess an analytical “can-do” working style. The ideal candidate understands how a transportation pricing grid functions across the core transport modes. Our perfect candidate speaks English and French to effectively support our growing customer base in Europe.

Main Job Purpose / Focus: 

Assume responsibility for our shippers after the contract is signed by training them and delivering ongoing friendly and professional key-user support, enabling them to successfully utilize our products. Provide best-in-class consulting to our customers to help them achieve their goals with our solutions, through assistance in technical and transportation bid management tasks.

Scope of Activities:

Directly support our customers in using our logistics Software as a Service (SaaS) applications

Analyze historical shipment/rate/contract data of our customers and provide consultancy based on the data within our applications

Work with leading companies to set up their transport RFPs/RFIs

Analyze customer bidding events on the platform and create scenarios using the analysis tools available on the platform

Work within an international team of employees supporting global customers

Provide consultancy to large industry customers regarding the implementation of logistics tenders

Conduct training (web-based, on-site, or in-house) for our customers

Support other departments with project and customer information (Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Accounting, IT)

Qualifications to impress us:

Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or a related field

Min. 2 years of working experience in Logistics, ideally with a Transport Carrier

Experience in Tender Management or transport purchasing is preferable

Solid understanding of RFP processes and strong analytical skills

Customer Service experience

Excellent English and French; proficiency in German and/or Spanish would be an advantage

Strong MS Excel skills

Goal-oriented work style and excellent organizational skills

Ability to work autonomously
