Are you passionate about driving growth and scaling businesses into new international markets? As our Expansion Lead, you will take charge of executing high-impact growth marketing strategies, helping us establish our presence across Europe, starting with the Netherlands. With a hands-on approach, you’ll be the key growth operator in our market expansion while also managing cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth and successful launches.

Tasks

YOUR TASKS:

  • Growth Strategy & Execution: You will lead the development and execution of growth marketing strategies, with a primary focus on influencer marketing & paid social. Your goal will be to drive our customer acquisition goals and ensure that country-specific growth targets are consistently met.
  • Market Research & Launch Planning: You’ll conduct comprehensive market research to evaluate potential opportunities in the Netherlands. Based on your insights, you'll develop go-to-market strategies, form local partnerships, and create tailored promotional activities for successful market entries.
  • Performance Analysis & Optimization: Your role includes continuously analyzing key growth metrics, customer behavior, and market trends. You will refine and adjust marketing strategies to outperform competitors, ensuring performance targets are hit in each new country.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: You will coordinate with marketing, product, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth market expansion. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to align on regulatory, cultural, and operational aspects across each market.
  • Project Leadership & Milestone Tracking: You will be responsible for tracking key expansion milestones, providing regular updates to leadership, and adjusting strategies as necessary. Your ability to lead initiatives and adapt will drive successful market growth.
  • Local Market Adaptation: You’ll ensure that each market strategy is adapted to fit the unique cultural, consumer, and regulatory needs of the country, building strong foundations for long-term success.
  • Partnership Development: Building and managing local partnerships, you will establish relationships with key influencers, media channels, and local organizations that will help accelerate brand penetration and market success.
Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Proven Performance OR Influencer Marketing Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience in influencer marketing OR performance marketing, with a focus on Paid Social – ideally within the food or consumer goods sector.
  • Deep Understanding of the Dutch Market: Experience leading product or brand launches, with specific expertise in the Dutch market and broader EU region.
  • Data-Driven & Analytical: Strong analytical skills to interpret data, track KPIs, and adjust strategies to optimize performance and outcomes.
  • Project Management Excellence: Skilled at coordinating cross-functional teams and managing tasks with precision, ensuring smooth, on-time execution.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive self-starter with a passion for growing brands in new markets, driven by a solution-oriented, get-things-done attitude.
  • Native Dutch Speaker: Fluent Dutch and English communication skills are essential; proficiency in German is a plus.
