SEMICONDUCTOR & ASSEMBLY SOLUTIONS (SAS)
As a global supplier to the semiconductor industry, we provide advanced copper interconnects, die attachment, wafer bump processes, solder technologies, fluxes, cleaners, and other attachment materials for the integrated circuit fabrication, semiconductor packaging, and electronic assembly industries. Our products touch nearly every facet of modern life and enable smart devices, phones, computers, electric vehicles, and more to function properly. SAS consists of three distinct business units (Circuit Board Assembly, Semiconductor Assembly, and Wafer Level Packaging) which are positioned to meet our customers’ ever-changing needs. Each business unit is structured by individual “Lines of Business” each with their own distinct offerings and value propositions. We operate globally, employ over 2,500 employees, and represent a $1.2BN (and growing) business.
POLYMER PROTECTION AND THERMAL INTERFACE MATERIALS (PP&T)
PP&T is an LOB of the Circuit Board Assembly business unit. It encompasses the following types of technology: conformal coatings, polyurethane & epoxy resins for potting and encapsulation, and liquid & sheet thermal interface materials.
A customer facing role, the primary responsibilites are as follows:
- To support the Strategic and Regional Account Managers achieve year-over-year revenue and margin growth targets as well as assigned account development goals and objectives;
- To provide technical and applications credibility during customer interactions that help support the ESI roadmap to revenue process and/or strategic account plans and the LOB strategic objectives;
- To develop business opportunities for the LOB within designated customer accounts;
- To be the technical bridge between the LOB’s/BU’s and the sales team;
- To feedback customer insight to the LOB and BU teams from a technology perspective;
- To create, lead and execute on robust product trial plans with customers defining testing criteria and establishing how success will be measured;
- To be the 1st line of defense in customer crisis management situations directly related to “line down” and/or technical customer complaints.
- Bachelor required. Graduate degree and specific credentials in an engineering curriculum
- A proven-track record in industry related experience is desired.
- Proficient English language capability – written and verbal.
- Abide by all Company policies/procedures, safety rules and governmental regulations.
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
- Strong analytical and statistical skills for problem solving.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Outstanding customer relations skills and be able to adapt to varying customer needs.
- Ability to prepare for emerging customer needs, manage multiple projects, determine project urgency in a meaningful and practical way; use goals to guide actions and create detailed action plans, and organize and schedule people and tasks.
- Ability to use a win-win approach to resolve conflicts; stay objective and fair when dealing with sensitive situations; maintain constructive working relationships despite disagreement.
- Ability to multi-task with 'can-do'attitude.
- Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot technical matters while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues.
- Ability to multitask, manage transitions effectively and change focus quickly.

- Ability to handle constructive feedback and adapt accordingly.
