The Controlling Powertrain Mercedes-Benz Cars division is responsible for the management, planning and analysis of business parameters in the Powertrain Mercedes-Benz Cars division.
By creating transparency and recommendations for action, the department is supported in optimizing costs. The "KPI-based control" project has set itself the task of concretizing this support by creating a uniform, SAP-supported system based on "Key Performance Figures". The advertised internship is primarily aimed at working on this project.
These are some of the challenges you will face:
Supporting the project management and project team members in project implementation Collaboration in the creation of the concept & methods of the project and its sub-areas Developing, creating and querying project content in collaboration with the Powertrain locations across Europe Collaboration in the implementation of the project in an established line process Reporting incl. creation and structuring of databases & data visualization with the help of dashboards & systems Participation in management meetings and (international) workshops if necessary Taking on ad-hoc tasks for the Controlling Powertrain division management Qualifikationen Degree in economics, controlling, business administration, economics, statistics, econometrics, mathematics, computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering or a comparable course of study with an existing quantitative affinity Experience in the structured preparation of complex interrelationships Initial experience in setting up / expanding databases and dashboards desirable Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel User knowledge of SAP desirable and Power BI Confident written and spoken German and English skills Commitment and ability to work in a team Analytical mindset and strategic way of workingAdditional information:
