Role Overview:

The Controlling department within the Powertrain division at Mercedes-Benz Cars is pivotal in overseeing, planning, and analyzing key business metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

As an intern, you will engage in the following:

  • Assisting project management and team members in executing project objectives.
  • Collaborating on the development of project concepts and methodologies.
  • Contributing to the formulation and analysis of project data in partnership with Powertrain locations across Europe.
  • Supporting the integration of the project into established operational processes.
  • Participating in reporting activities, including database creation and data visualization through dashboards.
  • Engaging in management meetings and international workshops as required.
  • Handling ad-hoc tasks for the Controlling Powertrain management team.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in economics, controlling, business administration, statistics, mathematics, or a related field with a quantitative focus.
  • Experience in structuring complex information.
  • Desirable experience in database management and dashboard creation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Power BI is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
  • A collaborative spirit and a commitment to teamwork.
  • An analytical mindset and a strategic approach to problem-solving.
