Network and Digital Communication Systems Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
Define terrestrial and space network architectures including user terminals Define and calculate link budgets in a digital communication system Perform traffic model simulations Define interface requirements towards space, ground, and user segments Support the overall payload design for telecommunication satellites Support the identification of future satellite communication technologies Interact with industrial and institutional cooperation partners and customers Function as the interface to workgroups and associations for digital communication standards (from DVB-S to 6G) Participate in the preparation of proposals
Your Qualifications
Degree in communication engineering, network engineering or electrical engineering with focus on telecommunication Knowledge of network management Experience in modelling and traffic-routing of networks Knowledge of 5G/6G standards with familiarity about 3GPP is an advantage Knowledge of space communication standards ( DVB-S/S2/RCS) is an advantage Excellent organization, prioritization, and communication skills English working level proficiency
