Role Purpose : We are seeking a skilled Sustainability Associate to support the integration of sustainability initiatives across our EMEA Market's Advisory business, focusing primarily on our leasing and tenant representation functions.

Markets Advisory is one of the five global business lines at JLL. It offers agency leasing and tenant representation; property management for owners of office, industrial and logistics, retail, multi-housing and specialty properties; and advisory and consulting, such as location and portfolio strategies.

This exciting new role is integral to delivering our newly established EMEA Markets Advisory Sustainability Strategy. Reporting to the Head of Sustainability - EMEA Markets Advisory, you will collaborate with key business lines and internal teams to embed sustainability practices within our workforce, expand our knowledge base, enhance client solutions, and seize commercial opportunities. While this position is not directly revenue-generating, it plays a crucial role in facilitating and enabling revenue generation for our real estate and sustainability colleagues.

The role will be situated in Germany but will cover all key locations within EMEA where JLL has a strong presence, including the UK, France, Poland, BeLux, MEA, Netherlands, Nordics, and Southern Europe. The Head of Sustainability - EMEA Markets Advisory is based in the UK. JLL boasts over 200 sustainability professionals across EMEA, who will be key stakeholders. Limited travel may be required.

Responsibilities:

Implement the EMEA Markets Advisory Sustainability Strategy, focusing on upskilling our workforce, establishing ourselves as trusted advisors to clients, and utilizing our unique insights to differentiate JLL. Enhance sustainability knowledge across our real estate teams through training programs delivered by our Learning and Development teams, developing case studies and collateral for colleagues. Build and engage a network of sustainability champions across EMEA, fostering a platform for sustainability advocates within the organization. Act as a subject matter expert on sustainability, collaborating with our real estate teams. Collaborate with our Business Development and Marketing colleagues to create consistent marketing messages and support social media campaigns. Identify opportunities to integrate sustainability into our advice, create tools and resources, and raise awareness of our sustainability solutions among colleagues. Support the integration of sustainability into proposal responses and create consistent pitch collateral across EMEA. Assist in business development activities for target clients and contribute to advancing JLL's market position in sustainability. Regularly report on progress to the Head of Sustainability - EMEA Markets Advisory and internal governance groups.

As an experienced sustainability professional with a deep passion for the future of sustainable real estate, you possess a comprehensive understanding of sustainability and ESG within the built environment. Effective communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines are essential. You enjoy collaborating within a team and fostering a positive team dynamic.

Wide-ranging knowledge of sustainability across the ESG spectrum, particularly its relevance to real estate. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sustainability role within real estate or professional services delivery. Helps or serves the client or customer, to build rapport, build partnerships and maintain constructive & respectful relationships to anticipate, understand, meet & exceed their needs, and maximize value creation. Uses imagination to create innovative & engaging products & solutions that challenge the status quo. Strong communication skills, including experience working with senior stakeholders in client organizations. Excellent project management skills, taking ownership of client deliverables, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders, and meeting deadlines. Strong problem-solving abilities, preferably with experience in developing comprehensive solutions within a business context. Interest in joining a dynamic and growing team within a global organization, with exciting opportunities for professional development. High level of autonomy, decision-making abilities, and the drive to push projects forward. Flexibility for travel, based in Germany (Munich, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt a.M., Hamburg, or Stuttgart).

Markets Advisory ist eine der fünf globalen Business Lines von JLL. Es bietet Vermietung und Mietervertretung, Immobilienmanagement für Eigentümer von Büro-, Industrie- und Logistik-, Einzelhandels-, Mehrfamilienhaus- und Spezialimmobilien sowie Beratung und Consulting, z. B. Standort- und Portfoliostrategien.

Diese aufregende neue Aufgabe ist ein wesentlicher Bestandteil der Umsetzung unserer neu eingeführten EMEA Markets Advisory Sustainability Strategy. Du bist dem Head of Sustainability - EMEA Markets Advisory direkt unterstellt und arbeitest mit den wichtigsten Geschäftsbereichen und internen Teams zusammen, um Nachhaltigkeitspraktiken in unserer Belegschaft zu verankern, unsere Wissensbasis zu erweitern, Kundenlösungen zu verbessern und kommerzielle Chancen zu nutzen. Diese Position ist zwar nicht direkt umsatzwirksam, spielt aber eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Ermöglichung der Umsatzgenerierung für unsere Kollegen im Bereich Immobilien und Nachhaltigkeit.

Die Position ist in Deutschland angesiedelt, deckt aber alle wichtigen Standorte in EMEA ab, an denen JLL stark vertreten ist, einschließlich Großbritannien, Frankreich, Polen, BeLux, MEA, Niederlande, Nordeuropa und Südeuropa. Der Head of Sustainability - EMEA Markets Advisory ist in Großbritannien angesiedelt. Aufgaben

Umsetzung der EMEA Markets Advisory Sustainability Strategy mit Schwerpunkt auf die Weiterbildung unserer Mitarbeiter, die Etablierung als vertrauenswürdiger Berater für unsere Kunden und die Nutzung unserer einzigartigen Erkenntnisse zur Differenzierung von JLL. Verbessere das Wissen über Nachhaltigkeit in unseren Immobilienteams durch Schulungsprogramme, die von unseren Lern- und Entwicklungsteams durchgeführt werden, und entwickle Fallstudien und Informationsmaterial für Kollegen. Aufbau eines Netzwerkes von Nachhaltigkeits-Champions in der gesamten EMEA-Region und Förderung einer Plattform für Nachhaltigkeits-Befürworter innerhalb der Organisation. Fungiere als Fachexperte für Nachhaltigkeit und arbeite mit unseren Immobilienteams zusammen. Arbeite mit unseren Kollegen aus den Bereichen Business Development und Marketing zusammen, um konsistente Marketingbotschaften zu erstellen und Social-Media-Kampagnen zu unterstützen. Identifiziere Möglichkeiten zur Integration von Nachhaltigkeit in unserer Beratung, Erstellung von Tools und Ressourcen sowie Sensibilisierung der Kollegen für unsere Nachhaltigkeitslösungen. Unterstütze die Integration von Nachhaltigkeit in Angebotsunterlagen und Erstellung von konsistentem Pitch Collateral in der gesamten EMEA-Region. Unterstützung bei Geschäftsentwicklungsaktivitäten für Zielkunden und Beitrag zum Ausbau der Marktposition von JLL im Bereich Nachhaltigkeit. Regelmäßige Berichterstattung über die Fortschritte an den Head of Sustainability - EMEA Markets Advisory und interne Governance-Gruppen.

Als erfahrener Nachhaltigkeitsexperte mit einer großen Leidenschaft für die Zukunft nachhaltiger Immobilien verfügst Du über ein umfassendes Verständnis von Nachhaltigkeit und ESG in der gebauten Umwelt. Effektive Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, ausgeprägte zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten und die Kompetenz, unter Druck zu arbeiten und Fristen einzuhalten, sind unerlässlich. Umfassende Kenntnisse der Nachhaltigkeit im gesamten ESG-Spektrum, insbesondere in Bezug auf die Immobilienbranche. Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung in einer Nachhaltigkeitsfunktion im Immobilienbereich oder bei der Erbringung professioneller Dienstleistungen. Helfe oder diene dem Klienten oder Kunden, um Beziehungen aufzubauen, Partnerschaften zu bilden, um konstruktive und respektvolle Beziehungen zu pflegen, um ihre Bedürfnisse zu antizipieren, zu verstehen, zu erfüllen und zu übertreffen und die Wertschöpfung zu maximieren. Hervorragende Projektmanagementfähigkeiten, Übernahme von Verantwortung für Kundenleistungen, Sicherstellung der Abstimmung mit internen Interessengruppen und Einhaltung von Fristen.
