Client details

Our Client, a Munich-based family office, is currently seeking a Junior Chief Financial Officer for medium-sized consumer goods manufacturer located in the Ruhr area. In this role, you will report directly to the management team, supporting the CEO in optimizing financial processes and leading a small team. If you have a background in finance, preferably within the eCommerce sector, Accounting and are ready to contribute to the growth of a thriving company, we invite you to explore this opportunity.


Description
  • Direct reporting to the management team
  • Support CEO in optimizing and professionalizing financial processes
  • Oversight of finance areas: financial accounting, treasury, and personnel administration
  • Leadership responsibilities for a small team with potential for future team expansion
  • Conduct preparatory accounting tasks (Debtors/Creditors) and oversee monthly closing processes
  • Liaise with external parties: tax consultants, auditors, banks, and payment processors
  • Ensure compliance with tax matters and support complex customs procedures in collaboration with purchasing
  • Analyze key performance indicators and provide regular reports to the management
  • Support the management in establishing Financial Reporting, particularly related to income statements, balance sheets, and liquidity & working capital

Profiles
  • Degree in business administration or relevant financially-oriented commercial education
  • Experience in finance and preferably in controlling and accounting within a medium-sized company, ideally in eCommerce
  • Knowledge of intra-community transactions (e.g., OSS procedure)
  • Proficiency in planning, budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and improving financial and business processes
  • Strong knowledge of MS-Office, DATEV, and ERP programs
  • Excellent German language skills and full professional proficiency in English and/or French
