Job Description
Define a safety strategy for Manufacturing & Logistics Tires and ensure its implementation Define and implement a safety management system Define and implement appropriate minimum standards in an intercultural context Develop and maintain the safety organization and ensure the exchange of best practices and know-how between locations Analysis and evaluation of accidents as well as implementation of technical, organizational and personal measures to minimize the risks of potential accidents and injuries Carrying out internal safety audits in the locations worldwide Leading assigned projects, actively participating in ongoing projects as well as controlling / supporting local safety projects and initiatives
Qualifications
Academic background; desirably background in Occupational Safety Management Ideally several years of relevant professional experience Profound knowledge of Continental policies concerning Safety Management Experienced in leading projects / working in project structure Knowledge and experience in strategy development Very good MS Office skills Excellent intercultural competence (international experience is an advantage) Goal and solution oriented as well as structured working style Excellent communication skills, good networking and strong team player Fluent written and spoken English; ideally, basic knowledge of German High willingness to travel worldwideApplications from severely handicapped people are welcome.
