General Manager
We are seeking a General Manager for a market leading international company who manufacture (near Hannover) a wide range of engineered products for customers globally.
We wish to find a strong leader to manage the entire facility as part of an international management team.
As General Manager, you will lead on the strategy and development of the site and business and be responsible for improving overall performance and profitability.
Specifically, you will:
· Lead a small management team operating across all functions in both the manufacturing and sales and marketing of the products.
· Drive and grow the product and service offering to sustain a market leading position.
· Work closely with the wider group to enhance the product visibility internally helping to develop more opportunities for cross selling.
· Take ownership for external sales growth and drive the conversion of the sales process from 3rd party reps to directly employed sales people.
· Lead efforts to restructure the team to help future proof the business including the development of a new generation of leaders.
We are interested in talking to both established General Managers / MD's or those for whom this would be a first GM role who relish autonomy and thrive on change.
