What do you contribute?

Lead and manage sustainability projects within the Rolling Stock Business (Train, Locomotives, Metros), ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals and objectives. Damit sind Projekte gemeint, wie z.B. the realization of the digital battery passport, reducing carbon footprint in our product portfolio, exploring and implementing tool chains for product circularity, and integrating eco-design criteria and principles into existing engineering processes and PLM tools Coordinate cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors, to ensure effective project execution. Provide regular project status updates to the BU Sustainability Manager and key stakeholders, including senior management, and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and address any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle. Stay up-to-date with EU regulations and green deal initiatives to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for innovation. Identify and implement strategies to reduce carbon footprint within the product portfolio, including the adoption of sustainable materials and manufacturing processes.

What do you bring along?

Higher technical education wiith a Master's degree in a relevant field. In addition, they can demonstrate several years of experience in project management, preferably in the field of sustainability or in related areas within rolling stock, automotive, aviation or industrial plant engineering. You have a strong knowledge of EU regulations and initiatives in the field of sustainability, such as the Green Deal. You are familiar with technical processes and PLM tools and are able to integrate eco-design criteria and principles. You are proficient in project management methods and tools. You have experience in working with cross-functional teams and communicating and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. You are fluent in English. German language skills are a plus.
