Head of Inside Sales

The company has recently launched octoplant, its new platform that represents the next level of development for the versiondog and AutoSave solutions. These solutions are currently utilized by over 3000 companies, including major players in the automotive, food, water, life science, and mining industries. octoplant serves as a comprehensive and vendor-independent data management platform, offering a holistic view of all automation processes involving OT and IT. It provides users with protection against production downtime, data loss, and significantly enhances cyber security. AUVESY-MDT operates globally, with sales offices in Germany, the US, and China, and a partner network consisting of over 100 partners worldwide.
We are seeking an accomplished Head of Inside Sales to spearhead strategic initiatives in lead management, customer engagement, and team collaboration. As a key contributor in our direct sales team, you will oversee sophisticated sales demonstrations, cultivate strategic relationships, and drive overall revenue growth in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Lead Management and Strategic Development
- Strategically lead and oversee the comprehensive management of inbound leads generated through marketing efforts
- Drive outbound prospecting initiatives with a specific focus on the Manufacturing industry
- Develop and implement advanced lead qualification processes for optimal targeting and prioritization of opportunities
- Personally engage with key prospective customers within the assigned area
- Understand their unique needs and assess their level of interest in the company's products and services
- Cultivate and nurture strategic relationships with high-profile clients, industry influencers, and decision-makers
- Direct the scheduling and execution of sophisticated web sales demonstrations
- Ensure seamless coordination of resources for impactful presentations
- Implement advanced sales demonstration techniques to effectively showcase the value proposition of the company's offerings
- Lead efforts to deepen knowledge about the company's products and services
- Stay abreast of industry trends and oversee continuous monitoring of competitor activities
- Provide strategic insights to guide product development and positioning
- Take charge of maintaining positive and strategic customer relationships
- Optimize product and service satisfaction, drive new sales opportunities, and fortify existing partnerships
- Develop and implement strategies for customer retention, upselling, and cross-selling
- Spearhead cross-functional collaboration initiatives by working closely with the broader sales team
- Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and sales support departments
- Drive synergies and streamline processes to enhance overall organizational efficiency
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the inside sales team
- Foster a high-performance culture and promote professional development
- Contribute to the growth and success of the team and the organization as a whole
- Experience Possess a minimum of 8 years of demonstrable experience in inside sales roles, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of sales processes, lead management, and customer engagement within the Manufacturing industry
- Education Hold a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Leadership Experience Hold a proven track record with at least 2 years of successful leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to mentor and lead a high-performance inside sales team
- Industry Knowledge Exhibit a deep understanding of the Manufacturing industry, staying informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making
- Sales Expertise Showcase a strong aptitude for sales, with a history of successfully managing inbound leads, driving outbound prospecting initiatives, and conducting sophisticated web sales demonstrations
- Strategic Vision Demonstrate a strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement initiatives that contribute to overall revenue growth and market presence
- Relationship Building Possess exceptional interpersonal skills to engage effectively with key prospective customers, cultivate strategic relationships, and maintain positive customer relationships for long-term satisfaction
- Languages Strong communication skills in both English and German, both written and verbal, enabling effective articulation of complex ideas and strategies
- Adaptability Display adaptability and resilience in a dynamic and evolving business environment, effectively navigating challenges and driving positive outcomes
- Master's degree or Ph.D in business, marketing or a related field
- Any additional European language skills
- Previous experience working in a start-up or fast-paced growth environment, demonstrating the ability to thrive in dynamic settings, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and contribute to the agile development of the sales function
