About your role:

  • Fabrication of multiscale porous silicon
  • Dielectric spectroscopy measurements on aqueous electrolytes confined in tailored nanoporous and hierarchically porous media
  • In operando nanotomography and SAXS/WAXS scattering of water-filled silicon structures fabrication of demonstrators in area C for DFG reviewer
  • Support the BlueMat Team during the application process for a cluster of excellence

About you:

  • Experience in the fabrication of nanostructured materials, e.g. single nanochannels
  • Experience in dielectric spectroscopy measurements
  • Experience in ln-operando X-Ray measurements of porous structures filled with liquids is an advantage
  • Completed scientific higher education or equivalent skills and experience and a completed PhD in chemistry, physics, materials science or a related field
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as an Independent, conscientious and goal-oriented, structured way of working
  • Very good knowledge of English is required, knowledge of German is an advantage
