Thorough understanding of project/program management methodologies and tools. A contributor to the strategic direction of the project management organization. Job RequirementsPlans, budgets, and secures staffing for the projects/programs they manageEffectively completes projects/programs on-time, on-cost, and on-qualityManages risks, issues, and compliance across programs and/or projects under their responsibilityResolves conflicts and effectively escalates topics appropriately on projects or programs they manageClearly communicates tasks, roles, expectations, and accountabilities to all team members on a regular basisPromotes and develops best practices in program and project managementWorks across organizational boundaries and functions to drive improvement and resolve escalated issuesDocuments project and program Lessons Learned to foster continuous improvementProvides training and consulting for other program/project managers when needed. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project teamsSupports different stages of the project management lifecycle, utilizing the tools and techniques to produce reports on performance, budgets, and schedulesWhat your background should look likeGenerally requires Bachelor's degree in appropriate field with 12 or more years of experience; or Masters' with 10 or more years of experience; or PhD level with 6 or more years of experience; or local equivalent Formal project or program management education.
