HR Generalist

Tasks

As the HR Generalist (m/w/d) you will play a key part in executing our HR strategy and deliver a great colleague experience every day.
You will deliver on the promise of our colleague value proposition by:

- Supporting change initiatives with senior stakeholders to provide meaningful solutions aligned to the evolving needs of the Business and the growth of our colleagues
- Provide expert and objective advice, coaching, and counsel to leaders and employees on policy and procedures, employment/labor laws, conflict resolution, change management, and organizational development while effectively mitigating business and company risk
- Manage works council relations in close collaboration with the Managing Director of the site. Prepare works council agreements, support in driving and leading negotiations. Provide guidance to local and international managers to ensure compliance with co-determination and legal framework
- Ensuring state-of-the-art delivery of all HR processes and services
- Maintaining, reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance to local legislation
- Driving local HR projects through innovation and own ideas
- Driving the local HR agenda and actively executing the daily operation of the HR function to support our workforce

**Requirements**:
**Skills Required**:

- Degree in an applicable field of study
- 5+ years relevant experience in a complex and international environment
- Proven record in dealing with the works council and knowledge in works constitution law (BetrVG) and experience with employment law
- Ability to think conceptually and strategically, while maintaining a results-driven approach to deliver win-win solutions for the business
- Strong relationship competencies, ability to collaborate, influence and manage through conflict to achieve successful outcomes; ability to challenge the status quo
- Excellent communication skills, ability to cascade complex messages with a global mindset
- Experience with HRIS systems desired
- Fluent in German and English
