At air up, we're constantly developing new ideas to expand into fresh markets and sales channels. As an Intern Business Development & Creative in our Strategy & Business Development team, you'll play a key role in our early-stage US market expansion—gaining hands-on experience in growing a market from 0 to 1.

Your focus will be on go-to-market strategy, organic growth, and shaping how US consumers discover and experience our brand. You'll drive projects end-to-end and have a direct impact on how we introduce and position air up in the US market.

We're looking for someone who have a strong understanding of US consumer behavior, culture, and social trends, and who are excited to bring these insights directly into shaping our US market strategy. This internship is designed for students who are completing e.g. a mandatory semester abroad in Germany as part of their university program, since this is required for German internship visa eligibility. We also welcome applicants who already hold valid work authorization for Germany. Your Responsibilities

Drive Organic Creator Seeding for the US Market

• Identify and activate micro-creators and community voices across the US that can build authentic brand awareness.

• Own the full process: from creator research and outreach to briefing, product shipment, and performance tracking.

• Analyze impact, document learnings, and recommend improvements to maximize reach and engagement.

Build Localized Organic Social Presence

• Use our organic social channels to experiment and uncover what drives brand growth across key US platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, etc.).

• Conduct competitive research, identify trends, and ideate content tailored to US audiences.

• Create/adapt digital assets (images, short-form video) to test different content approaches.

Support Local Event & Activation Planning

• Assist with initial planning of small-scale events, pop-ups, and community activations in potential US pilot cities.

• Support vendor research, logistics, and coordination with local partners.

That's You

• You have deep familiarity with current US culture, platforms, and consumer trends.

• You understand what matters to US consumers and can translate insights into impactful ideas.

• You're studying (or recently graduated) in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• You love testing ideas, evaluating impact, and iterating.

• You ideally have experience in Business Development, Marketing, or PR—especially around organic growth or creator/influencer relations.

• You enjoy working with Excel/Google Sheets and using data to inform decisions.

• You're fluent in English.

• Bonus: You're comfortable with content creation tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, Figma, etc.).
