About the Opportunity

Are you a qualified
Steuerberater
with 2–3+ years of post-qualification experience in corporate tax—ideally with exposure to the insurance or broader financial services sector?

This is a rare chance to join one of Germany's strongest and most respected insurance tax teams at a leading Big Four consultancy.

Due to significant market shifts, high demand, and substantial upcoming audit wins (including one of the largest insurers in Europe), the team is expanding rapidly. You'll join a high-performing, collaborative group working directly with partners who value ambition, technical excellence, and a modern, people-centric leadership approach.

Munich is the team's core location and a strategic growth hub. This role is business-critical and offers a clear development pathway.

What You'll Do

Deliver high-quality advisory and compliance services across
corporate tax
,
insurance tax
,
audit support
, and
cross-border matters

Work with major insurance groups and financial institutions, gaining deep exposure to reserves taxation, capital market investments, and industry-specific tax rules

Contribute to tax audit support, inbound/outbound structuring, and complex corporate tax compliance

Collaborate with colleagues across multiple locations (Munich, Cologne, and more) within a broad Financial Services Tax ecosystem

Start delivering value immediately—this is not a training role; you are joining the bench to strengthen capacity and technical capability

Grow quickly: the team is restructuring and creating space for ambitious talent to rise

What We're Looking For


Steuerberater
qualification (mandatory)

2–3+ years post-qualification experience (Manager level; Senior Manager-ready a plus)

Experience in
insurance tax
,
financial services tax
, or
corporate tax
within a Big Four or leading advisory environment

Strong command of English; international clients are the norm

Someone who is ambitious, delivery-driven, and keen to grow in a niche and expanding market

Comfortable working in hybrid teams and taking ownership of client deliverables

Insurance industry experience (in-house) is welcomed if you previously trained in a Big Four firm
