About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled L3 Network & Telecom Administrator to provide onsite support for our client's network and telecom infrastructure. This role requires hands-on expertise in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving advanced network issues, along with the ability to execute tasks assigned by the Network/IT team.

The environment includes FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitches, and Extreme Networks Access Points.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L3-level onsite support for network and telecom issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents related to Fortinet security and switching and Extreme Networks wireless environments.
  • Perform configuration, upgrades, monitoring, and maintenance of network components.
  • Execute scheduled tasks assigned by the client's network engineering team.
  • Perform health checks, performance analysis, and fine-tuning of network infrastructure.
  • Document issues, actions taken, and recommendations for improvements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Ensure high availability, stability, and security of the network infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer / Network Administrator / Telecom Administrator.
  • Strong L3 troubleshooting capabilities in enterprise network environments.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • FortiGate Firewalls (mandatory)
  • FortiSwitch (mandatory)
  • Extreme Networks Access Points (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of routing, switching, firewall policies, VLANs, VPNs, SD-WAN, and wireless technologies.
  • Experience handling onsite support, emergency issues, and high-priority escalations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus (Fortinet NSE, CCNP, Extreme Networks certs).

  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
