Role Description
We are looking for a
senior telecom professional
to lead
global wholesale and operator partnerships
, sourcing and negotiating network access and commercial terms with MNOs worldwide.
This is
not a classic sales role.
You will be working
peer-to-peer with mobile operators
, using your industry credibility and network to secure
commercially sustainable wholesale agreements
that enable rapid international expansion.
What you will do
- Own and lead
global wholesale sourcing and operator partnerships - Negotiate
commercial terms
with MNOs (pricing, ARPU, volume, coverage, scalability) - Leverage existing
roaming / wholesale relationships
to accelerate market entry - Represent the company at
GSMA WAS, MWC and key industry forums - Work closely with product, finance and leadership to ensure:
Sustainable unit economics
Scalable commercial frameworks
- Drive
country launches
from agreement to first revenue - Protect margin while building long-term, trusted operator relationships
What we are looking for
Must-have experience
- 10–15+ years in
telecom
, preferably with a Tier-1 MNO - Background in
commercial roaming, wholesale, or global partnerships - Direct experience negotiating international operator agreements
- Clear understanding of
ARPU-driven, volume-based economics - Regular exposure to
GSMA / WAS-level negotiations - Comfortable operating independently in a high-impact, ambiguous environment
Strongly preferred background
- Vodafone (Group or large op-co), Telefónica, Orange, Deutsche Telekom
- Senior commercial roles with
pricing or margin responsibility - Global or multi-regional remit
What this role is NOT
- Not a pure sales or commission-only role
- Not an operational roaming / TAP / billing role
- Not a junior BD or partnership coordination position
