What will you do

As an Analytics Engineer at re:cap, you will design, build, and own analytical pipelines that empower teams across the company to make day-to-day data-driven decisions. You'll play a key role in shaping the next phase of analytics at re:cap by improving and expanding data infrastructure and tooling that transform raw data into actionable insights and scalable solutions.

Your contribution to our success

In this role, you will…

• Data Pipeline & Feature Development: Design, build, and own analytical pipelines and business logic that powers our internal teams and customer-facing applications.

• Data Modelling & Tooling: Improve and maintain our existing data foundations, ensuring data is reliable, well-structured, and optimized for reporting, analysis, and decision-making. Actively shape and enhance the tools and platforms teams use to work with re:cap's data.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Commercial and Finance teams to integrate data solutions into our SaaS platform and funding products.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs and ensure analytics initiatives drive measurable business value.

• Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Mentor teammates, lead by example through code reviews and documentation, and help evolve our data platform and best practices.

Who we are looking for

• You have 4+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data/BI Analytics, or related roles, with strong technical skills

• You have extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining end-to-end analytical pipelines and data solutions, including:

  • Strong data modelling and SQL skills

  • Experience with Python for analytics, transformation, and automation

  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructures (GCP, AWS, Azure)

  • Experience with orchestration (Dagster, Airflow), warehousing (BigQuery, Snowflake), visualization (Looker Studio, Looker, Tableau), ETL/ingestion (dbt, Airbyte) and analytics (PostHog) technologies

• You can quickly prototype solutions and incrementally evolve them into robust, production-ready pipelines

• You actively improve and optimize reporting and analytics tooling to support internal teams in making data-driven decisions

• You can structure and optimize processes to ensure high-quality, reliable, and well-governed data

• You understand data architectures that support scalable, high-volume pipelines and analytics

• You are innovative and forward-thinking, with a passion for leveraging data to enhance business and financial insights

• You have a collaborative mindset and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment

• You are fluent in English

• You have a valid EU work permit and reside within the EU. re:cap does not offer visa or relocation support at the moment
