We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

The shift pattern for this post is
Monday Friday

The post holders will be required to work 37.5 hrs per week (part-time and job share requests will be considered), to provide clinical care and leadership across all services within their remit.

Post Title: 2 x Senior Dental Officers Paediatric Care
Base: Springburn Health Centre and Gorbals Health and Care Centre
An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit to two Senior Dental Officer (Paediatric Care) posts to support the clinical management and treatment of Paediatric Care patients within the Public Dental Service (PDS) within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.

The successful candidates will be involved in the treatment of complex and vulnerable paediatric patients both registered and referred to the Public Dental Service, utilising a range of clinical techniques including sedation and general anaesthetic.

The Post Holders Must Be Registered With The General Dental Council As a Dentist. The Successful Applicants Will Be Expected To Have Regular Contact With a Range Of Partners Including

  • Public Dental Service staff
  • Paediatric Team Members
  • Glasgow University
  • Secondary Care dental colleagues
  • Oral Health Improvement Teams
