Your Responsibilities
As a Junior QHSE Officer, you are the driving force behind quality, health, safety, and the environment within our organization. You ensure that our processes not only meet the highest standards but even exceed them. With your sharp eye and passion for continuous improvement, you help build a culture in which safety, sustainability, and quality are second nature.
Location: Koog aan de Zaan, the Netherlands
Position in the organization: The role is part of the QA division and reports directly to the Quality & HSE Coordinator.
Team size: You will work together with a team of 2 colleagues. The team consists of the Quality & HSE Coordinator and the Quality Controller.
International connections: Due to the global structure of our group, regular coordination takes place with international locations, particularly with our site in Emmerich. Project work often occurs in intercultural teams.
Your Tasks:
- You conduct internal audits, analyze risks, and translate findings into practical improvement plans.
- Together with colleagues from production, engineering, and management, you ensure compliance with laws and regulations and promote awareness among everyone on the work floor.
- You document deviations.
- You calibrate measuring instruments.
- You perform periodic safety inspections and workplace analyses.
Your Profile
- A completed MBO level 4 or HBO degree, preferably in a technical or safety-related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience in quality control or safety management.
- A proactive attitude: you identify opportunities for improvement and know how to engage others in the process.
- Strong communication skills and an eye for detail.
