Director Delivery Management

We are looking for an accomplished
Director
Delivery Management
with deep expertise in Financial Services to join EPAM in Frankfurt. In this senior leadership role, you will be accountable for end-to-end delivery across a portfolio of complex client engagements while ensuring excellence in delivery quality, financial performance and long-term client satisfaction.

You will work closely with senior client stakeholders and EPAM's globally recognized design engineering and consulting teams to deliver high-impact digital and technology solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will build strong business and technology relationships, take a hands-on leadership approach and embed a culture of continuous improvement, operational rigor and delivery excellence across engagements.

Responsibilities

• Own portfolio delivery management and contribute to business development initiatives within the financial services sector
• Act as executive delivery sponsor for strategic client accounts ensuring alignment with client objectives, quality of delivery and commercial targets
• Engage senior business and IT stakeholders to shape digital transformation and data strategies, identify critical gaps and drive measurable outcomes
• Lead and support the full pre-sales lifecycle, including opportunity qualification solution design delivery approach definition and preparation of proposals, statements of work and commercial models
• Define and present solution architectures, oversee architecture reviews and audits, and articulate value propositions, including ROI and business case justification
• Provide end-to-end accountability for project and program delivery, covering scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, sourcing and financial performance
• Build, scale and lead high-performing, geographically distributed delivery teams including managing and mentoring Technology Delivery Managers
• Establish and optimize delivery operating models, engagement governance and delivery best practices across accounts
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery maturity, tooling, agile ways of working and engineering excellence in line with EPAM standards

Requirements

• Proven track record of leading complex, large-scale digital and technology programs within the financial services sector including banking, capital markets or payments
• Extensive experience of working with senior client stakeholders, up to executive and board level, across business and technology functions
• Demonstrated success in portfolio and program management within a consulting or professional services environment
• Strong pre-sales and commercial acumen, including experience in shaping winning proposals, estimating delivery effort and managing P&L responsibility
• Solid hands-on understanding of modern technology and software engineering practices with the ability to guide architectural and delivery decisions
• Proven ability to build, lead and scale distributed and nearshore or offshore delivery teams and define effective target operating models
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills with a strong ability to influence and build trust
• Business-fluent German and English are required
