Have you already discovered your passion for event planning and management in all its facets? Then take the next step and join us as Director Event Management (m/f/d). Two brands – endless opportunities

Your key responsibilities include:

• Lead and delegate the day-to-day operations of the Event Management team, of approximately ten team members
• Oversee the planning and operational execution of conventions, meetings, and events for up to 1,200 guests, ensuring flawless delivery and client satisfaction
• Act as the strategic point of contact for clients during the planning phase, ensuring all details are captured and expectations exceeded
• Collaborate closely with Convention Sales, Banqueting, and other departments to guarantee seamless coordination and resource allocation
• Develop and implement event planning standards, timelines, and quality control measures to optimize efficiency and guest experience
• Responsible for establishing and monitoring budgets, forecasts, and profitability for planned events, ensuring financial targets are met
• Drive innovation in event concepts and planning processes to maintain our competitive edge
• Represent the hotel during site inspections and planning meetings with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and legal requirements throughout all event operations
• Train, coach, and develop your team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
• Report directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing, contribute to strategic business goals, and share responsibility for budget and forecast creation

Be able.

• Several years of experience in event planning and management within the hospitality industry, ideally in a leadership role 
• Strong organizational and project management skills with a keen eye for detail 
• Ability to coach, motivate, and develop a high-performing team 
• Excellent communication skills in German and English; additional languages are a plus 
• Proficiency in Opera and other event management systems 
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive under pressure
