IT Compliance Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive
IT Compliance Manager
to join our team and play a key role in enhancing IT compliance at the group level. In this role, you will be responsible for consulting with management and employees on IT compliance matters, conducting IT compliance audits, and managing action plans to mitigate risks identified during audits. You will also have the opportunity to enhance the internal control environment and evaluate new systems and applications to ensure compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance IT Compliance: Strengthen and improve IT compliance processes across the group.
• Consultation: Advise management and employees on IT compliance-related matters and ensure they are informed about relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• IT Compliance Audits: Plan, prepare, and conduct IT compliance audits across the organization, identifying areas of improvement and compliance risks.
• Action Plan Management: Oversee and steer action plans to mitigate risks identified in audits, ensuring timely resolution and risk reduction.
• Internal Control Environment: Develop and maintain an effective internal control environment for IT processes and audit its effectiveness regularly.
• Risk Management: Enhance and manage the risk inventory, analyzing and evaluating risks to ensure alignment with the overall risk profile of the organization.
• Compliance Monitoring: Continuously monitor compliance risks, develop and implement countermeasures to address them.
• Evaluation of Systems: Assess new systems and applications for compliance with legal, regulatory, and data protection requirements.
• Documentation Management: Ensure quality management for the documentation of all IT-related processes, maintaining proper records and evidence for compliance purposes.

Requirements

• Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Business Administration, Risk Management).
• Experience: Professional experience in IT compliance, IT audits, and risk management.
• Skills: Strong background in project and change management.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English, preferably also in German.
• Communication: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
