Asset Management – Investment – Research Analyst

Role Description:

The Research Analyst in Asset Management plays a vital role in supporting investment decisions through in-depth financial analysis, data interpretation, and market research. This position focuses on identifying investment opportunities, evaluating risks, and generating insights that guide portfolio strategy and performance. The analyst contributes to the development of investment models, performs quantitative and qualitative research, and communicates findings that support strategic asset allocation and security selection.

Working closely with portfolio managers and investment teams, the Research Analyst monitors global financial markets, macroeconomic indicators, and sector trends to anticipate market movements and assess potential impacts on investment portfolios. The role involves building and maintaining databases, performing valuation analyses, and preparing reports that translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations. The analyst ensures that all research outputs align with the firm's investment philosophy and compliance standards, supporting both short-term market positioning and long-term value creation.

This position requires a strong understanding of financial instruments — including equities, fixed income, and alternative assets — as well as the ability to synthesize diverse sources of information into coherent investment views. The Research Analyst contributes to the ongoing optimization of research processes, adopting analytical tools and digital platforms to enhance data accuracy and research efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, economics, mathematics, business, or a related field
  • Solid knowledge of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in data analysis software, spreadsheets, and financial databases such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or Refinitiv
  • Clear understanding of portfolio construction principles and risk management frameworks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting research findings to internal stakeholders
  • Familiarity with global markets, macroeconomic trends, and sector dynamics
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
