Milengo is an ISO 17100 certified language service provider headquartered in Berlin, Germany with service centers in Poznan, Poland, New York, USA, and Shenzhen, China.TasksReview content generated by machine translation in Finnish, and post edit it, according to the specified guidelines.Collaborate with other linguists to implement new AI technologies in content localization.RequirementsMust have:Interest in working with machine translation and large language modelsFlexibility/Versatility : support all workflows from the new product framework, open to testing new workflows and tools, and provide constructive feedback on AI workflowsReliability/Attention to detail : thoroughly reading and following guidelines for different workflows to ensure the right qualityLinguistic expertise: please apply only if you are a native Finnish speaker.Nice to have:CAT tools knowledge : general or specific CAT tool knowledge is a plus, but we don't expect linguists to know them,.MT experience : Prior knowledge about machine translation (MTPE) workflows is helpful but not a must. Openness to learn new technologies and workflows is more important.Proficiency in German is a plus.Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a short test to assess their linguistic skills. The test will take between 30 minutes to 1 hour and will be carried out either in memoQ CAT tool or Word document, depending on your preference. In your application please write a few sentences – no more than a paragraph – on why do you think you are right for this position and what you understand as being an AI linguist.This is a freelance position and there is no interview step.
