Senior Market Development Manager

YOUR MISSION AT VOI
As a Senior City Success Manager, you will be the driving force behind Voi's growth in the northern region of Germany. You will be responsible for the commercial and operational performance of your cities, focusing on building strong relationships with our external stakeholders. You will work closely with internal teams to set the strategy for success and ensure we meet our goals for growth and profitability while maintaining compliance with city regulations.
This will include:
- Working closely with the Senior Manager / Head of City Success / Country Manager to set the strategy for success and associated targets across your cities.
- Being the guardian of city-level P&Ls within your region. You will be across all line items and have a deep understanding of key drivers across each.
- Working closely with Public Policy and Partnerships teams on business development initiatives to ensure compliance with city regulations and increase Voi's footprint across your market.
- Working closely with growth teams on pricing and product strategy, ensuring we optimise for growth and profitability whilst meeting our policy and city stakeholder goals.
- Where they exist, working closely with competitors operating in the cities we operate to strengthen footprint and compliance
- Monitoring contractual operations and investment compliance, ensuring that we are compliant with local regulations and act in agreement with our city stakeholders.
- Leveraging data and analytics to optimise performance across key metrics around scooter utilisation, fleet management and overall operational efficiency.
- Working closely with our core operations team to launch new cities and expand the footprint of existing ones.
- Addressing city concerns and complaints funneled in from our user support team.
- Working closely with our Product team to ensure that the requirements for the cities you are accountable for are met.
- Proactively spotting opportunities for improvement and optimization and leading projects to drive the necessary change.
- Participating in pre-tender and tender work to ensure we are best positioned to win.
WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK
We're looking for a results-oriented problem-solver who can build strong, lasting relationships and thrive in a fast-paced environment. In addition to being fluent in both German and English, we believe the right person has:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, operations, or strategy.
- A proven track record of negotiating and effectively managing external stakeholders e.g., partners, government, media.
- Experience from leading complex cross-functional projects and taking multiple stakeholder needs into account.
- Experience working closely with a P&L, managing budgets, and building robust business cases.
- The ability to work with and analyse large data sets using tools like Google Sheets or Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt your message for a diverse audience.
