Financial Controller

We are looking for a
Financial Controller
to join our DACH finance organization and help strengthen our team. This position is based at our
R&D Hub in Augsburg
, where you will be part of a collaborative finance team operating across Augsburg and Bad Nauheim. You will also work closely with our Finance Shared Services team in Malaysia and colleagues at our headquarters in Denmark, contributing to a truly global finance setup.

Key Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of budgets and forecasts to support business planning
• Conducting variance analyses and identifying key drivers
• Preparation of liquidity planning
• Assistance with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB & IFRS
• Collaboration with Danish parent company and Malaysian Finance Shared Services
• Acting as a liaison between human resources and financial accounting
• Support in asset accounting process
• Contributing to projects in the areas of controlling and accounting
• Assisting with ESG-Reporting

Suggested candidate profile
Skills
Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you have:

• Completed commercial training as an accountant, tax clerk, controller or a comparable qualification.
• Around 2-3 years of professional experience in Controlling / Accounting.
• Solid experience and knowledge of HGB. IFRS knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of German tax law.
• Experience or interest working in a global company and closely collaborating with colleagues in Finance Shared Services, HQ and other offices.
• Very good MS-Office knowledge, as well as common ERP systems.
• Strong communication skills in German and English, in both speech and writing.
