Our **FCM Finance department** is looking for a

**R&D Controller (f-m-d)**

located at the **Europe Division Headquarters **in** Augsburg, Bavaria - Germany**.

The role of a R&D Controller is to manage the controlling of a R&D Site or Region, engineering, prototypes, and tooling costs, in order to guarantee and optimize the R&D financial performance and competitiveness.

**Main mission**:
**Ensure all financial related procedures compliance**
- Develop, execute, and control internal finance procedures including spending authorization in accordance with Group procedures and policies
- Ensure site activities are compliant with Faurecia finance related procedures, and 9 internal control basics

**Provide reliable financial/controlling information towards the management**
- Lead all forecasting processes (budget, periodic forecast,)
- Manage reporting process ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency and delay compliance
- Ensure reliability of hourly rates
- Provide all necessary controlling analysis including variance analysis, R&D Site budgetary control, projects and programs monitoring
- Collaborate with Program Controlling teams, obtaining/providing/validating proper information
- Collaborate with Shared Service Center obtaining/providing/validating proper finance information
- Control and manage the site’s operating cash flow (capex, working capital)
- Provide all necessary information requested by internal and external auditors

**Act as a business partner toward the engeneering community, and provide recommendation to the management**
- Propose, to the management action plans resulting from relevant analysis in order to achieve the operational targets (especially regarding costs, workload )
- Identify and optimize external subsidies relative to research activities
- Follow finance impact of action plans
- Ensure financial awareness of engineering operational teams
- Business School or Engineering background with a Finance degree or master’s degree in Finance
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience, according to the size and complexity of the site, including a first controlling experience
- Good accounting knowledge
- Good knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Business minded and strong teamwork sense
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English required, German is a plus
