Senior Manager Cloud Platform and Workplace

With our RPCs, safety for food transport is improved, there is less waste of food and at the same time the lifespan of the products increases. Key responsibilities:

• Cloud Ownership – Lead the company's Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, ensuring stability, scalability, security, and best-practice cloud architecture.
• Engineering & Migration – Drive cloud engineering activities and oversee migration of on-prem workloads to Azure with focus on automation and cost optimization.
• Governance & Compliance – Define and implement governance, security, and compliance frameworks across M365 and Azure environments.
• Workplace Operations – Ensure stable, compliant, and efficient provisioning and operation of workplace equipment.
• Team Leadership – Build and develop an internal IT cloud team with strong focus on engineering excellence, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Technical Mentorship – Provide both strategic guidance and hands-on technical leadership to support team growth.
• Vendor Management – Select, onboard, and manage external service partners with SLA- and KPI-driven performance oversight.
• Policy & Standards – Develop and enforce guidelines, policies, and technical standards for cloud usage aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Cost Governance – Establish cost management frameworks to optimize and control Azure spend.
• Innovation & Automation – Evaluate new Microsoft capabilities and drive automation initiatives (IaC, CI/CD) to enable modern, scalable cloud operations.

We expect:

• Education – Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Cloud Leadership – Extensive IT background with several years in cloud-focused leadership roles.
• Azure & M365 Expertise – Proven hands-on experience managing enterprise Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Technical Skills – Deep knowledge of Azure services, Entra ID, automation scripting (PowerShell/Python), and Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform).
• Cloud Migration – Demonstrated experience leading large-scale Azure and M365 migration projects.
• Team Leadership – Strong capability in building, mentoring, and developing cloud engineering teams.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Management – Skilled in managing partners, SLAs, and communicating effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Language Skills – Fluent in English and German; Spanish is a strong plus.
