Business Development Specialist

We are looking for Business Development Specialist
to our location in Germany
The Business Development Specialist (f/m/x) will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing innovative packaging solutions, and establishing strong customer relationships within the corrugated packaging sector. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution to meet market demands, enhance product offerings, and expand market share across the region.

Your mission:
New Business Growth:

• Identify and pursue opportunities in the regional market, including potential clients, new end-uses, and applications.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the customer base, product applications, and regional revenue.

Market Intelligence:

• Leverage available materials and data to drive focused business development projects.
• Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.

Customer Collaboration:

• Work closely with customers on development projects, ensuring smooth handover to sales teams for execution.
• Align company offers with customers' needs, creating tailored solutions for specific requirements.

Cross-Functional Alignment:

• Collaborate with sales teams to align business development goals with regional sales.

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Packaging Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or product innovation in the corrugated packaging industry or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully developing new business and launching innovative products.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices and eco-friendly packaging solutions is a plus.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze markets and create long-term business strategies.
• Business Acumen: Deep understanding of sales, pricing strategies, and cost structures in the corrugated packaging industry.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Being fluent in German, English is beneficial.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and alignment with regional goals.
• Willingness to travel within the region.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to develop relationships and networks across levels and functions.
• Demonstrated experience in achieving sustainable results, hands-on approach and taking ownership of decisions.
• Analytical mind-set, able to grasp the high-level picture while keeping the relevant level of details.
• Willingness to maintain a strong presence on site at our newly acquired operations in Germany.
