YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• General Ledger Accounting:
  You are responsible for the accurate and timely execution of all general ledger activities, ensuring that all transactions are posted correctly and in compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.

• Monthly and Annual Financial Statements:
  You independently prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB. You carefully review journal entries and accruals to ensure accurate period-based allocations.

• Finance Reporting:
  You independently prepare internal and external financial reports and verify their accuracy and compliance with applicable standards. You also contribute to the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.

• Compliance & Audits:
  You ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal guidelines in all accounting processes. You prepare necessary documentation for internal and external audits and provide explanations for accounting procedures.

• Process Optimization:
  You proactively identify improvement potential in existing accounting processes and contribute your own ideas to enhance efficiency and promote digitalization. You collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflows.

• Ad-hoc Analyses:
  You prepare analyses and reports on current financial topics for management. In addition, you actively contribute to special projects in the area of accounting and finance.

• Cross-Team Collaboration:
  You work closely with Controlling and our international finance teams to ensure seamless information exchange.

YOUR SKILLS

• A completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is the ideal foundation for this role. A Master's degree is a plus.

• You have several years of experience in general ledger accounting, ideally in an internationally operating company.

• You bring sound knowledge of accounting standards and principles, along with proficiency in accounting software such as SAP or Power BI, and strong Excel skills.

• Excellent German and English skills (minimum C1, spoken and written) are required for this role. Since English is our corporate language, confident communication within the team is essential.

• Your high level of accuracy and strong analytical skills help you detect discrepancies early on. At the same time, you are known for your excellent communication skills and your ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.

• You are well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
