Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant, located in Mumbai. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, including but not limited to, financial reporting, general ledger management, account reconciliations, and regulatory compliance. Duties will also involve preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and supporting internal and external audits. The role requires close collaboration with the finance team and other departments to maintain financial health and compliance within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger management, and account reconciliations
  • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing financial statements and supporting internal and external audits
  • Experience in regulatory compliance and ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
