Offgrid Mindful Cabins GmbH is an early-stage nature travel, hospitality, sustainable and design start-up. We are fuelled by passion for mindfulness, nature, storytelling, and unique design experiences. We design, manufacture and operate cabins (tiny houses) that promote mental wellness, mindfulness and unforgettable memories in the heart of nature. Our beautifully designed Offgrid cabins serve as gateways to happier, healthier lives.

To support our mission, we recently raised capital from angel investors who have extensive experience in our field of business and building unicorn ventures. We're excited about the future and are looking for talented individuals who want to join us on this journey.

JOB INTRO:

Offgrid is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Founder's Associate. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment and is eager to contribute to the growth of our company.

As a Founder's Associate, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with the founder of Offgrid (Björn Welter), supporting him in various aspects of the business. You will play an integral role in helping to shape the future of our company and drive its success.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING HERE?

• Independantly develop new business verticals.
• Collaborate closely with the founder and C-Level on new in the development of expansion plans, alternative product offerings and the advancement of Offgrids business model.
• Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making processes, providing insights and recommendations to optimize business operations.
• Act as a liaison between the founders and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
• Assist in building and nurturing relationships with investors, shareholders, and business partners.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

• Degree from a top-tier business school (e.g., WHU – Otto Beisheim, EBS Universität, University of St. Gallen, HHL) or equivalent academic excellence. Alumni from these and comparable programs are encouraged to apply.
• 1–3 years experience in a high-intensity, analytical environment (consulting, VC/PE, investment banking, startup, or operations).
• MA or BA in entrepreneurship, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven start-up experience or entrepreneurial environment and ability to manage projects indipendantly end-to-end.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional organizational, project management and time management skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and evolving environment.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Fluent in English.
• Fluent in German.
• Driving license (to be able to visit cabin locations).
