As Training Academy Manager, you will motivate, engage and skill partners and in-house members on LG Information Display products and sales skills via both digitally enhanced virtual and in-person trainings (LG Information Display: LED Signage, Digital Signage, Hospitality TV, and Software Solutions).

Key roles and responsibilities

  • Define and develop the learning program strategies and processes to develop the expertise
  • Lead to analyze business needs, prioritize program road maps, then design and develop the programs and associated curriculum and training materials to meet those needs
  • Lead to measure, evaluate and report on the effectiveness and business impact of your learning programs
  • Work with subsidiary trainers leveraging best practices and processes to develop your business and deliver results
  • Identify the tools and learning technology choices that will provide ways to cost effectively scale your programs and improve learning effectiveness and speed to proficiency
  • Evangelize LG B2B Training & Certification at company and industry events

Required qualifications, skills and experience

  • 5+ years of experience to design and develop highly technical training programs and curriculum materials for international technical support organizations
  • 5+ years of experience managing curriculum development programs
  • Experience working with industry standard Learning Management Systems (LMS) and reporting and measuring training results and learning effectiveness
  • 5+ years of program and project management experience including managing multiple concurrent projects and managing process improvement efforts
  • Experience managing the design and development of assessments and certification or accreditation programs ideal
  • Experience managing the review processes for training content and materials
  • Experience designing and developing training for AV/IT/technical teams and technical support or related positions
  • Extensive experience with LMS and familiarity with online learning technology and virtual delivery technology ideal
  • Experience analyzing and presenting detailed metrics using tools like Excel, Virtual Event and LMS
  • Experience editing and creating educational video
  • Knowledge of Programming on HTML, JavaScript, Audio/Video, LED, CMS Solution, IT
  • Excellent facilitation & presentations skills and ability to deliver training in an engaging fashion
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken (other European languages will be an added value)
