We are looking for two dynamic and impactful Strategic Marketing Leaders – one specialized in Food.

Under the responsibility of the Head of Strategic Marketing, the Strategic Marketing Leader will drive development and validation of strategic plans by leveraging market research, analyzing competitor positioning and customer needs, and conducting feasibility studies to support future growth of Prayon.

Responsibilities

• You translate market trends and evolving customer needs into clear strategic plans that are fit for Prayon. These plans will touch on various aspects such as production capacity expansions, new market developments, mergers & acquisitions (M&A's), and more.
• You work in collaboration with cross functional teams including for example Sales to understand customer needs, Business Developers who ultimately implement validated strategies, RTG to assess investment size, etc.
• You drive strategic thinking that moves initiatives forward with purpose and efficiency, cutting through complexity without getting mired in details. You will present these strategic plans to top management, securing their validation and buy-in.
• You develop intelligence on competitor activities and monitor their evolving strategies and tactics – new market segments, new plants, capacity increase, etc.

Profile

• You have minimum 5 years' experience in B2B strategic marketing roles, ideally in the chemical industry.
• You hold a Master's Degree in Economics, International Business, Chemistry, or equivalent. MBA is considered an asset.
• Strategic Thinker with Agility: You have a proven track record of developing impactful market and product strategic plans that adapt quickly to changing market conditions.
• Collaborative Leader: You can lead, motivate, and collaboratively manage diverse cross-functional teams, ensuring results are delivered in a timely manner.
• Analytical & Insightful Thinker: You possess a strong analytical mindset, with the capacity to interpret complex and contradictory market data, uncover true opportunities, and translate them into compelling strategic directions.
• Influential Communicator: You have strong communication and presentation skills, capable of crafting and delivering persuasive business cases that resonate with and gain commitment from top management.
• Project Management Skills: You demonstrate capability to provide structure and manage complex projects from inception to completion.
• You are fluent in English and French; other languages are an asset.
