Manager Consumer Finance
Location: Munich
Our client is seeking a Manager Consumer Finance to drive and enhance consumer financing solutions across the German market. Working in a dynamic multichannel retail environment, the role collaborates closely with Sales, Category Management, IT, and Marketing to deliver a seamless financing experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Business Owner for Consumer Finance in Germany.
- Develop and execute the strategy and roadmap for consumer finance products.
- Lead tenders, contract negotiations, and competitive analyses.
- Optimise the end-to-end customer journey and define IT requirements.
- Manage and further develop the financing portfolio with existing partners.
- Oversee budget planning, business case modelling, and performance tracking.
Profile:
- Several years of experience in consumer finance.
- Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience with IT requirements management and implementation.
- Strong analytical mindset with high numerical affinity.
- Fluent German and English.
- Well-organised, proactive, and comfortable in a dynamic environment.
- Empathetic, collaborative, and able to build trust.
- Project management experience is a plus.
