Help Emidat scale by building the foundations of our people function, as well as hiring and attracting exceptional talent.

--- Your Challenge ---

As our
Founder's Associate (People & Talent Focus)
(all genders), you will work directly with Lisa (CEO), Florian (CTO) and the leadership team on the most important initiatives to help grow Emidat's team. Your primary focus will be on
People & Talent:
recruiting, employer branding, onboarding, culture projects, with the possibility of developing into a People & Talent Lead role.

This role is perfect if you:

  at a fast-growing SaaS startup,
• and want a front-row seat to how founders build a company from scratch.

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

You will help us find and hire exceptional talent across engineering, product, sales, operations and more:

• Source candidates across LinkedIn, GitHub, niche communities, referrals and events
• Manage candidate pipelines end-to-end (screening, coordination, communication)
• Conduct first round interviews and be the first touchpoint with candidates
• Support hiring managers with structured interviews, scorecards and role briefs
• Set-up, maintain and improve our ATS setup
• Make every touchpoint feel premium and personal

2. Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

Turn Emidat into a magnet for exceptional people:

• Refresh careers page, job ads, social posts and hiring collateral
• Create content that shows our culture, team spirit and mission
• Organise small recruiting events, meetups or online formats
• Ensure every candidate interaction reflects Emidat's values

3. Onboarding & People Operations

Help us deliver an
incredible
new-hire experience:

• Own pre-boarding checklists and day-1 setup
• Coordinate with IT/Operations to get equipment, accounts and training ready
• Create and maintain 30/60/90-day plans
• Collect feedback and continuously refine the onboarding journey

Based on what you know about the role you know best if you could thrive in this job. You don't need to be an expert but you do need to be eager to learn.

You don't need to be a People/Talent expert yet, but you need to be eager to become one:

• Strong interest in people, hiring, culture and how high-performance teams work
• A structured working style with strong prioritisation and project-management skills
• Excellent communication (written and verbal)
• A bias towards action
• Curiosity, humility and a growth mindset
• Fluency in English (German a plus)

Nice to have:

• Experience in recruiting, employer branding or HR topics
• Experience in startups
• Familiarity with ATS tools such as Ashby
