Duties
  • Provides administrative and management support and technical assistance to the Director of Community Activities or higher level management officials.
  • Carries out and coordinates administrative matters and activities within the DCA and with outside organization as the DCA designated representative.
  • Participates in operational matters and activities as directed.
  • Provides and oversees a variety of support services in the Directorate.

  • Must be willing and able to work evenings, weekends and MWR Special events.
Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

Work experience providing management support and technical assistance to the Director of Community Activities or higher level management official to include experience concerning missions and administrative issues in order to recommend actions or improve operations.

Two years of education above high school in a field related to this position (e.g. business management)

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":

  1. A minimum of one (1) year of experience managing operational matters to include oversight and compliance regarding policies governing Private Organizations and/or Homebased Businesses within a military community.
  2. Experience monitoring program performance the ability to identify areas of improvement and recommend actions based on best practices and regulatory compliance.

  • The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is local commuting area. The local commuting area defined as within 100 km (60 miles) of Stuttgart, Germany. (Family Member Preference eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.)
