CTO & Co-Founder @ Stealth Venture (AI Yard Operations)

Modern logistics and manufacturing rely on the smooth flow of goods, trucks, assets, and information yet the yard remains one of the last major blind spots in the supply chain. Despite its strategic importance, processes are still largely manual, reactive, and difficult to optimize.

We are building an AI-native platform that brings real-time intelligence, transparency, and automation to yard operations. By combining computer vision, sensor data, and machine learning, we aim to create a unified system that understands what is happening on the yard at any moment and supports and automates key operational decisions.

Our mission is to transform yards from low-visibility operational bottlenecks into predictable, data-driven, and highly efficient environments.

Aufgaben
As a co-founder, you will play a central role in defining the technology, shaping the product, and creating a new category in logistics AI.

Your role
As CTO & Co-Founder, you will build the technology strategy from 0 to 1 and lead the development of our computer-vision-driven yard automation platform. You will work directly with the CEO/founder to validate customer pain points, design the technical architecture, and build a world-class engineering organization.

This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial, high-ownership role for someone who wants to build deep-tech infrastructure for one of the largest industries in the world.

Key Responsibilities
Technology & Product Architecture

• Design the core system architecture for a real-time yard intelligence platform (CV + IoT + data pipelines + backend services + integrations).
• Evaluate and implement computer vision pipelines: object detection, tracking, ID association, anomaly detection, and spatial reasoning.
• Build reliable, scalable data infrastructure (event streams, geospatial models, digital twin layers).

AI/ML & Engineering Execution

• Develop and iterate models for tracking, recognition, mapping, and behavior prediction.
• Set engineering best practices across CI/CD, testing, reliability, security, and data protection (GDPR).
• Build early prototypes that can operate in messy, real-world industrial environments.

Founding Team Leadership

• Hire and lead a cross-disciplinary engineering team (CV, backend, platform, MLOps).
• Establish a culture of excellence, autonomy, pragmatism, and speed.
• Partner with the CEO in customer discovery, PoCs, and design partner engagements.

Operational & Strategic Ownership

• Drive the technical roadmap and translate customer workflows into product capabilities.
• Ensure system robustness and safety for mission-critical operations (yards never sleep).
• Communicate clearly with customers, partners, investors, and internal stakeholders.

Profil
Your profile
You are a highly motivated, entrepreneurial engineering leader with a strong background in AI/ML, computer vision, and building scalable software systems. You love solving real-world problems and are excited about building an industry-defining deep-tech product from scratch.

Must-haves

• MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in computer vision, MLOps, and model deployment.
• Experience designing and owning complex distributed systems and backend architectures.
• 3+ years of experience in leading engineering teams or tech strategy (startup or high-growth preferred).
• Hands-on ability to build prototypes quickly and evolve them into production systems.
• Strong understanding of data infrastructures, integrations, APIs, and real-time pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills and eagerness to co-own product, obsess over customer processes, and business outcomes.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: you enjoy ambiguity, move fast, and bias for action.

Strong pluses

• Experience with geospatial systems, tracking algorithms, or sensor fusion.
• Experience in logistics, manufacturing, robotics, mobility, or industrial automation.
• Strong product instincts and ability to translate operational pain points into technical designs.
• Experience with on-prem/edge deployments or privacy-sensitive environments.
• Prior founding or early-stage startup experience.
