The Role

We're looking for a Senior Financial Controller to take ownership of group consolidation, monthly close, and financial reporting across 15 international entities. This is a high-impact role where you'll lead IFRS and local GAAP compliance, manage audits, and drive automation in intercompany processes and finance systems. What you'll do

• Lead Group Consolidation & Reporting: Deliver monthly consolidated P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements; prepare consolidation entries and maintain templates.
• Year-End Close & Audits: Manage group and local year-end close, support IFRS statements, and coordinate statutory filings and audits.
• Intercompany Accounting: Design and govern intercompany frameworks, automate processes, and resolve reconciliation queries with local teams.
• Finance Systems & Data Governance: Configure and maintain consolidation master data, COA mappings, and lead finance automation projects.
• Policy & Process Improvement: Maintain IFRS accounting policies, strengthen controls, and implement continuous improvements.
• Cash Flow Management: Support planning and reporting of group liquidity and cash flow.

What you bring to the table

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent qualification).
• 5+ years in financial controlling, auditing, or accounting with consolidation experience.
• Familiarity with ERP and consolidation tools (Lucanet, Dynamics 365 Business Central a plus).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a tech-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
