About the team

At Hemby, our operations team is the heart of what we do — a well-oiled machine creating daily joy for our customers and their families. Supported by cutting-edge technology, our operations ensure every interaction runs smoothly: from onboarding new customers and carers to maintaining exceptional client relationships. As a key leader in this team, you'll be at the forefront of making everything work seamlessly, every single day.

Your responsibilities

As our
Operations Lead
, you will inspire and develop a high-performing team that manages daily operations nationwide. Currently, the team consists of 8 members in Germany and will grow during 2026 as we expand into new cities.

You'll foster a culture of celebrating successes, learning from challenges, and continuous development. You'll take ownership of improving processes, tools, and systems to drive scalability and operational excellence.

As part of the German Management Team, you'll also contribute to strategic discussions, identify growth opportunities, and lead initiatives that continuously elevate how we operate.

What we're looking for

We're looking for a hands-on leader — someone who doesn't just guide from a distance but actively dives deep into processes, understands the day-to-day work, and is ready to roll up their sleeves when needed. You combine this practical mindset with strong leadership and the ability to coach, empower, and motivate your team to deliver outstanding results.

You have a curiosity for leveraging technology to enhance customer service, strong business judgment, and experience leading teams in fast-paced environments such as startups or scale-ups.

You thrive in change, know how to prioritize effectively, and lead with clarity and empathy. You bring calm and focus under pressure, keeping your team motivated and aligned on what truly matters — both short-term results and long-term growth.

What we offer you

We offer a competitive monthly salary between 5,000€ and 7,000€, plus equity, depending on your level of experience. You'll have clear opportunities for growth, both in your role and personal development, with tailored support to help you reach your skills and career goals.
