Our Information Security team is seeking a Director of Information Security. This role will report directly into the Chief Risk Officer and be instrumental in overseeing and enhancing Moss' Group information security policies, standards, cyber risk management and IS governance processes. This plays a vital part to Moss' success as a highly governed and compliant organisation.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead Security at Scale: Act as the Information Security Officer for Moss and the Group, setting direction, owning the vision, and leading a team of experts across IT Security, Vendor & Outsourcing Management, and Tech-Ops.
• Shape Governance & Manage Risk: Drive and evolve our security policies, standards and risk management processes, ensuring strong governance across the Group.
• Build Trust Inside and Out: Maintain compliance with regulatory and certification requirements (ISO 27001, SOC2, DORA, MaRisk), and deliver timely, accurate responses to client security needs — from audits to tenders.
• Measure What Matters: Define and track key security KPIs, using them to strengthen and showcase our security posture.
• Secure Our Partners: Lead vendor and third-party risk assessments, ensuring our wider ecosystem meets Moss' security standards.
• Build a Security Aware Culture: Design and deliver training and awareness programs that empower teams and embed security into daily practice.

About You

• Extensive experience in information security governance with a strong focus on risk management and previous tenure in senior GRC or security leadership roles.
• Experience in financial institutions, fintech, or similarly regulated industries and recognised certifications such as CISM, CISSP, or comparable are a huge plus.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

You create confidence with regulators, auditors, clients, and internal stakeholders by demonstrating proactive, transparent, and effective protection.
• Influential Communicator - You communicate complex security and regulatory requirements clearly and persuasively to all audiences, from frontline employees to the C-suite and external regulators. You build trust by being transparent, approachable, and solutions-focused in every interaction.
