Your Mission

Are you ready to shape and lead our information security governance?

 We are looking for an Information Security Officer (f/m/d) with strong German language skills and a passion for building robust security frameworks. In this key role, you'll guide our organization in meeting regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements while promoting a culture of security awareness.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for all governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) topics in information security. Working closely with global IT and business teams, you'll ensure our security policies and practices meet international standards and German regulatory requirements.

Ihre Mission Your Role

As an Information Security Officer (f/m/d), you will:

  • Develop, maintain, and enforce information security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Act as the Information Security lead in organizational risk and audit activities, driving risk assessments and supporting internal and external audits, while overseeing compliance with ISO 27001, TISAX, and NIS 2 requirements.
  • Act as the Information Security liaison for German entities, ensuring adherence to EU and German-specific regulations (e.g., BSI IT-Grundschutz).
  • Coordinate a team of three Information security officers across the enterprise
  • Drive awareness campaigns and training programs in both German and English to foster a security-first culture.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership and business stakeholders to define metrics and report on the effectiveness of security controls and governance.
  • Evaluate and manage third-party security risk and remediations.

  • Several years of professional experience in information security governance, risk, and compliance.
  • Fluency in German (C1 or higher) and English—able to communicate complex security topics to business stakeholders in both languages.
  • Solid knowledge of standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, TISAX, NIS 2, and CIS Controls.
  • Strong understanding of risk management processes, policy development, and audit coordination.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor) are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
