Your Role

As a

Senior

Logistics Project Coordinator

at Munich Electrification, you will play a key role in our

Logistics and Micro Factory Team

, working closely with external partners and internal stakeholders across multiple departments. Your role will be central to our operations, ensuring the seamless flow of goods, with a strong focus on

new development projects.

You will take full ownership of all logistics activities, overseeing the smooth and timely distribution of goods to our customers, production partners, and key suppliers. Collaborating with our customers and production partners, you will lead the development and implementation of innovative

logistics and packaging concepts

. Beyond managing the day-to-day logistics for sample & series products, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our logistics operations. You will optimize existing processes and design innovative solutions to ensure a highly efficient and sustainable product flow. Moreover, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our global distribution network by contributing to exciting new initiatives and projects that reinforce our role as a leader in the electric mobility revolution.

Your future tasks at a glance

• Develop and implement innovative logistics and packaging concepts in close collaboration with customers, production partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate and oversee inbound and outbound deliveries, including the preparation of transport documents and management of customs procedures, while ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with international regulations.
• Manage warehouse operations, inventory control, and in-house prototype activities, maintaining a high standard of organization and efficiency.
• Establish and maintain clear, consistent communication with production partners, suppliers, and customers to align logistics strategies with project timelines and objectives.
• Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for process improvements and drive excellence in logistics operations.
• Maintain and continuously optimize the logistics process landscape, integrating best practices, innovative solutions, and sustainability principles to address evolving business needs and challenges.

What You Bring With You

• Educational background in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in logistics, transport planning, or similar roles, preferably with a focus on organizing shipments in the automotive industry.
• Experience with packaging solutions and planning methodologies.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, with a focus on logistics processes; experience with SAP ByDesign is highly desirable.
• Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English is required, and proficiency in German is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimization.
