Business Lawyer

Location: Frankfurt

Our client is seeking a Business Lawyer in Frankfurt to support a wide range of corporate, contractual, and compliance matters across international group entities. This role offers hands-on involvement in cross-functional projects, legal operations, and the opportunity to shape internal processes within a global legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support legal matters for domestic and international entities within a small global legal team.
  • Draft corporate resolutions and ensure compliance with governance requirements in coordination with the General Counsel and external advisers.
  • Review NDAs and support the development of contracts, templates, and policies.
  • Organise and follow up on notary appointments, board meetings, and formalities.
  • Manage digital contract workflows, including deadline tracking, renewals, and documentation.
  • Assist with compliance management and internal investigations.
  • Coordinate insurance service providers, with scope to develop the area independently.
  • Enhance legal processes and support cross-functional projects such as M&A and reorganisations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in commercial law, information law, or a related legal qualification with relevant professional experience.
  • Strong interest in corporate, contract, and compliance law.
  • Comfortable working in international and cross-functional settings.
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Analytical mindset, strong communication skills, and a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Familiarity with corporate structures and global business environments is an advantage.
