We are currently looking for a (Senior) Knowledge Lawyer with deep expertise in Banking, Capital Markets, Structured and Asset Finance in the Frankfurt office
Your Tasks
The (Senior) Knowledge Lawyer will focus on the Finance practice area within the Global Transactions group. They will work with practitioners across the Continental Europe region, supporting both the team(s) in Frankfurt and the wider practice in Germany, in particular:
- Enabling Partners and lawyers in the practice to provide market-leading client service by
- capturing and sharing insights and knowhow from high-profile transactions,
- developing internal knowledge products such as standard forms, practice notes and other know how “toolkits”)
- analysing and disseminating legal/market current awareness
- proactively seeking opportunities for innovation in the delivery of knowledge services (including using and promoting the tech tools available in the firm for matter management, and wider tools such as AI and document automation)
- Helping grow the business of the firm, raise the profile of the practice and strengthen client relationships by identifying opportunities for, and developing, client content, contributing to and supporting reputation-enhancing publications and supporting client education
- Developing the legal skills of the lawyers in the practice through internal training and by acting as a sounding board for legal queries, in each case upskilling our lawyers in this fast-developing area of the law
Your Profile
- You have completed your law studies with above-average degree
- High level of relevant successful experience as a fee earner in an international law firm or advisory firm in a Finance practice, showing a sound knowledge of Banking, Capital Markets, Structured and Asset Finance
- Growth orientation and positive approach to managing change
- Aspiration and commitment to continuously acquire, build on and share knowledge
- Ability to work in a team and demonstrate a collaborative, positive approach when working with others
- Excellent networking and communication skills (both in German and English)
