AP Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Monitor proper posting of all supplier invoices based on the accounting, cost centers and tax rules of the country's trading companies in Europe
• Ensure payment is performed and recorded in a timely manner
• Responsible for month end reconciliation of the accounts payable sub ledger, accounts payable aged analysis, debtors reconciliation, prepayment and accrual calculation
• Other Ad hoc administrative and financial projects that will occur from time to time
• Coordinate Purchase Orders
• Review of employee personal expense claims in accordance with company Travel Policy
• Perform weekly bank reconciliation for payables bank accounts
• Monitor departments budget and work closely with them to ensure effectiveness and correctness of the underlying costs
• AP coordinator between the EU local accounts and the EU Headquarter

Requirements:

• Relevant academic background in finance/accounting
• 2-3 years experience in a similar role
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial analysis and reconciliations of budget and costs
• Attention to detail
• Strong flexibility and adaptability
• Team player with hands on approach to problem solving
• Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative work style, and ability to effectively manage shifting priorities
• Fluent in English and German, any other European language skills are considered a plus
• Excellent skills in MS excel and other MS office tools; lookup and pivot table are considered to be a strong advantage
