We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to head our
Sales Planning & Steering
(f/m/d) department. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies and programs to meet short-, mid-, and long-term business objectives. You will oversee performance management, drive market analysis, and ensure the effective execution of sales initiatives across our dealer network. Reporting directly to senior management, you will lead a team of managers and specialists across Sales Planning, Bonus Management & Reporting, and Digitalization & New Sales Channels.

We want you to:

  • Continuously analyze the new vehicle business to identify opportunities and risks
  • Develop and steer short-, mid-, and long-term sales and volume strategies
  • Conduct in-depth market and sales trend analyses, implementing corrective measures where necessary
  • Lead the creation of market and competitor analysis reports, providing actionable recommendations
  • Develop and manage sales programs (monthly, quarterly, ad hoc) aligned with company targets
  • Oversee registration and stock analysis to guide monthly ordering processes
  • Ensure timely execution of approved sales programs and communication to dealers
  • Manage the planning, execution, and monitoring of all sales promotion programs, taking action in case of deviations from plan
  • Monitor dealer performance and support improvement initiatives in collaboration with regional teams
  • Control and monitor the advertising budget and related planning measures
  • Provide weekly sales forecasts to Hyundai Motor Europe and monitor district/regional performance
  • Oversee dealer motivation and loyalty programs, as well as incentive and transaction price strategies in line with market conditions
  • Ensure accurate processing of dealer bonuses and incentives for new vehicles
  • Further develop the strategic direction of existing sales systems and digital sales strategies
  • Manage financial and leasing programs, coordinating closely with our in-house bank
  • Plan and manage the departmental budget, aligning with overall business objectives
  • Collaborate closely with New Vehicle Logistics & Production Control, Regional Managers, and the Hyundai Partner Association
  • Lead, coach, and motivate your team in line with our leadership principles

About you:

  • Degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on automotive management, or equivalent commercial training with significant experience in the field
  • Strong market knowledge of the automotive industry, particularly in sales and volume planning
  • Several years of operational sales experience within the automotive sector
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills
  • Confident, empathetic, and able to influence at all levels
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills with sound decision-making abilities
  • High resilience, commitment, and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Excellent coordination and organizational skills with a collaborative mindset
  • Proactive, efficient, and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Motivational leadership style with a respectful approach to colleagues and partners
  • Proficiency in presentation techniques and MS Office, especially Excel
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
